Newspapers Truly are Old News

I used to think my Local Paper was old news
when the “rumor mill” knew about news long
before it came out a week later
in the Paper.

But Today even the daily newspapers are old news.

The Noon News Report

or Nightly news on TV is
even Old News when I see it. 

Internet News is this minute
or this hour and it has many different sources and even
videos from people in the street who saw it happening.

How can you compete with that if you are still
advertising your real estate listings and services

in your local newspaper or those shiny-glossy
real estate magazines ?

They are literally yesterday’s NEWS.

By the way, did you ever add up what those real estate magazines make ?

Where I live, it is around $400 a page and there is 210 pages each month.

This is $84,000 a month.  Now, I don’t know about your real estate market or your
target real estate area.  However, I do know that

eighty-thousand dollars a month is more

money than I have ever made in real estate. 

What does this tell You ?

It tells me that there is more money in marketing listings

month after month than there is in selling it. 

But there is only room for one player. 

So these magazines will eventually FAIL

when real estate agents such as yourself

market your listings on the INTERNET

where the buyers are and

stop paying the Magazine Owners Your Fortune.

Get there first; there is Still Time to Get on top of the Search Engines.

I will bet those magazines are not where the buyers are.

But it does not matter, the magazines get paid either way. 

They do not care if your buyers can find you and

most likely they DO Not want your Real Estate Listings to Sell.

You can See that They

make More money than most of us do.

Now as Real Estate Agents, we are Constantly bombarded with nonsense. 

And find ourselves working day and night. 

We are at the beck and call of buyers and listen to every concern the Seller has. 

All this and We need to find time to “Have a Life”.

So, we Get into a Groove.  We lay comfortable in a very deep groove. 

We continue paying the newspaper, paying the shiny magazine owner

and we pay those billboard companies to promote us. 

 They LOVE US.

They don’t want you to know

that their business will fail if you get Internet Marketing. 

They don’t want you to know that Buyers are no longer driving

through town and picking up their magazines or their newspapers
before they look on the Internet for Real Estate in your Area.
